Cortijo Grande is situated approximately 80 km. north of Almería near Mojácar. Take the exit road AL151 from the N340 in the direction of Mojácar. After approximately 3 km. turn right in the direction of Turre and Cortijo Grande. After another 3 km you will arrive at the town. The caddymaster office is situated left of the first "Parking" sign.

Cortijo Grande Golf Club uses the Almanzora Bar and restaurant which is adjacent to the course. The course is 4 kilometres from the sea, making it ideal for a day out, of golfing in the morning or afternoon followed by drinks and a meal at the Almanzora.

Cortijo Grande Golf Course was designed and opened in 1976 by the designer Paul Polansky. The relatively flat course has its fairways lined with the citrus groves of orange and lemon trees.
