Mojácar

Ancient in origin and Arabic in appearance, Mojácar spills down a hill in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera. In spite of the slow destruction that it has been subjected to, it preserves its peculiar structure of stepped terraces and charming narrow little streets.
Down the hill, on the coast, are more than five kilometres of beachfront along which there has been considerable urban development. Notably, there are twelve kilometres of virgin beaches and coves which reach to the borders of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. Mojácar attracts visitors from all over the globe and a great many find themselves returning, often to live. Mojácar is undoubtedly the most cosmopolitan place in the whole region.

Mojácar is an engaging, beautiful and romantic corner of Spain, perched high on a hill white washed houses, cool courtyards and cobbled streets overlooking the sea and long sandy beaches. A focal point for artists and writers throughout the ages, Mojácar with its Moorish appearance and commanding views will fascinate, beguile and completely captivate you.

Whether it is sailing, fishing, bowling, tennis, golf or water sports that take your fancy or simply relaxing on an uncrowded beach soaking up the sun, you will find it all and more in and around Mojácar.

Once you have experienced the unique charm of Mojácar, it will always remain with you.

With a truly welcoming atmosphere, it's not surprise that visitors return to Mojácar year after year.

Climate
